CHARACTERISTICS OF SUBSTRATE
General purpose softwood used as dressed, seasoned timber in general house framing, flooring, lining, joinery, mouldings and laminated beams.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Damaged areas should be spot repaired and primed as per new work. Gloss surfaces should be deglossed by fine sanding or by using sugar soap and thoroughly rinsed.
It would be prudent to check (ascertain/ determine) that the existing coating system is firmly adherent to the substrate by cross-cut and tape adhesion test.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Drying times are approximate at 25° C and 50% relative humidity. Allow longer drying times under cool, moist or low air movement conditions. Spreading rates will vary from the quoted theoretical rates depending on application methods and surrounding conditions.
Do not paint if temperatures are below 10°C or likely to fall below 10°C during drying period
