CHARACTERISTICS OF SUBSTRATE

General purpose softwood used as dressed, seasoned timber in general house framing, flooring, lining, joinery, mouldings and laminated beams.


SURFACE PREPARATION

Timber work should be flat and smooth on jointed areas,and have undamaged surfaces. Check all areas of surfaces to ensure that there are no scuff marks from sanding on and around jointed surfaces.

Surface must be clean and free from any dirt and contaminants. All cracks and imperfections must be repaired using correct patching agents or flexible gap sealant as required for areas that have substrate movement. Sand smooth, and dust thoroughly and remove loose jointing compound or cornice cement prior to painting.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Drying times are approximate at 25° C and 50% relative humidity. Allow longer drying times under cool, moist or low air movement conditions. Spreading rates will vary from the quoted theoretical rates depending on application methods and surrounding conditions.
Do not paint if temperatures are below 10°C or likely to fall below 10°C during drying period
